What won the race: Donald Lingo Jr. of Millsboro, Del., picked up a $5,000 victory in Saturday's Delaware State Dirt Track Championship at Delaware International Speedway. Lingo took the checkers ahead of Austin Hubbard and Mark Pettyjohn.
Quotable: “The first 15 or 18 laps I was right on the bottom and that one restart I heard somebody up high above me and I said well I gotta try it … I’m not gonna let somebody ride around me,” winner Donald Lingo Jr. said. “I went up and it felt better and the next caution, dad was down there showing me I had a little more room, so I said I’’m gonna stay up here for awhile I think.”
