What won the race: Rallying from the sixth row, Travis Pennington of Stapleton, Ga., took the lead from Corey Almond with six laps remaining and went on to win Friday's Fastrak Racing Series weekend opener at Screven Motor Speedway. Pennington earned $2,000 for his third series win of the season, while Almond, who led laps 18-44, finished second.
Key notes: Pennington finished 1.619 seconds ahead of Almond. … Pennington used to the top side to rally from the 11th starting position.
