The track hosted Big 10 competitors for the fourth and final time. ... The event was the eighth of 10 series races and the second of a weekend tripleheader. ... Scott Schmitt of Tonica, Ill., won Friday at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway.
On the move: Diveley came forward from seventh to nearly steal the victory before settling for second.
