Billy Moyer won the Australia USA Tour finale at Bunbury.
What won the race: Regaining the lead from Tyler Erb of New Waverly, Texas, several laps shy of the halfway mark, Billy Moyer of Batesville, Ark., led the remainder of the 40-lap distance to score his second victory in Australia's USA Tour at Bunbury Speedway.
Quotable: "It was a little tricky there," Moyer said. "It kind of kept us on our toes all night. In the heat race it was real greasy, and still in the main it was, and then it kind of went away. I think when I got to running a little bit better midway through the race, the grease part kind of went away and I could steer a lot better."
Key notes: Moyer was also the winner of the Jan. 9 USA Tour opener at Perth Motorplex. ... Moyer and Erb split the four-race series, with Erb grabbing a pair of wins at Perth and Collie Speedway. ... Only 13 cars took the green flag in the feature after experiencing problems in heat race action. Among drivers failing to start were Joe Godsey and Jeff Roth.
Points chase: Erb clinched the USA Tour points title by six points over Moyer.
