What won the race: After slipping past polesitter Kyle Bronson on the opening lap, Nick Hoffman of Mooresville, N.C., held off several mid-race challenges to capture the $2,000 payday in the second round of the Durrence Layne Winter Shootout Series Bubba Army Winternationals at Bubba Raceway Park on Friday. He topped second place finisher Jake Knowles by 1.632 seconds.
