What won the race: Charlie Sandercock of Belleville, Ontario, took the lead from polesitter and race leader Sean Beardsley of Central Square, N.Y., on lap 10 of 30 and led the remaining distance for a $1,000 Go Nuclear Late Model Challenge Series victory at Can-Am Motorsports Park.
Key notes: Sandercock held a commanding lead at the halfway mark, while Beardsley and A.J. Kingsley of Fulton, N.Y., battled for second. ... A lap-16 yellow widened the distance between Sandercock second-running Beardsley. ... Corey Earl of Picton, Ont., charged through the top-five for a late-race challenge; his efforts would not be enough as Sandercock maintained a straightaway lead over the field through the final circuits. ... Sandercock picked up a Go Nuclear victory on May 18 at Utica-Rome Speedway after Tim Sears Jr. of Clay, N.Y., was disqualified. ...
