Andrew Yoder gets up to speed before his third career Mason-Dixon victory.
What won the race: Inheriting a Mason-Dixon Shootout Series victory when apparent race winner Devin Hart was disqualified for multiple technical violations, Andrew Yoder of Middleburg, Pa., collected a $1,000 payday at Port Royal Speedway.
Key notes: Yoder notched his second Mason-Dixon victory of the season, winning the March 23 season opener at Port Royal. … Devin Hart, a hometown racer who led the series points entering the event, crossed the line first but was disqualified postrace because his deck and quarterpanels were illegal, and his carburetor spacer was too high. ... The series is slated to return to the half-mile for its $1,500-to-win season finale on Oct. 12.
On the move: Dillan Stake of Three Springs, Pa., started 10th and finished sixth.
Winner's sponsors: Yoder's No. 2 has a Miller Racing Engine and sponsorship from Stine Trucking, Wind View Truck & Trailer and Strouse Electric.
Points chase: Entering Saturday's race, Devin Hart held a 121-point lead over Devin Frey (111) in the series standings.
