Key notes: In collecting his first win with the fledgling first-year tour, Cory Hedgecock swept the night’s events, setting quick time, winning the dash and the 30-lap feature. … Hedgecock earned his second straight Crate Late Model victory. He won the UCRA-sanctioned Spring-Loaded 40 at I-75 Raceway in Niota, Tenn., on April 6. … Jensen Ford of Piney Flats, Tenn., winner of the tour’s inaugural event on March 31, finished 22nd after being caught up in a crash on lap seven. …
