What won the race: Going around teammate Craig Parker just before the white flag, reigning SWDRA champ John Cornell of Phoenix, Ariz., earned his first series victory of the season Saturday at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway. He earned $700 for his 16th career series victory.
Key notes: Winner John Cornell restart inside the second row of a Delaware double-file restart with five laps remaining. He cleared Bud Grossenbacher then moved up to challenge Craig Parker, taking the lead on lap 24. ... The lone caution flew on the 20th lap for James Laing, who was running third. ...
