What won the race: Polesitter Brett Hamm of Newberry, S.C., outran fourth-starting Donald Bradsher of Burlington, N.C., for $3,000 and his second straight Fast United Engine Late Model Series victory.
Key notes: Hamm, who has three FUEL wins in 2014, previously the won tour's inaugural event at Cherokee Speedway on April 12 and matched the feat on July 12. ... Carolina hosted the seventh race on the first-year tour for CT 525-engine powered Late Models; only four races remain. ... The racetrack, which alternates between a Limited Late Model and Crate Late Model division weekly, hosted the tour for the first time after a June 27 event was rained out.
