What won the race: Brett Hamm of Newberry, S.C., led all the way at Fayetteville Motor Speedway for his third straight series victory and fourth overall. Hamm won two stops at Cherokee Speedway and on Friday at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, N.C.
Key notes: Ross Bailes ran second much of the way, but slipped back to fifth on lap-23 restart. ... Gib Gibbons also held the second spot before Donald Bradsher posted his second runner-up finish in a row on the series. ... Several cautions slowed the action, and one turned into a lengthy red flag when Billy Hicks climbed the wall and flipped in turn one on lap 24; he was OK. ... Chuck Smith and Colby Jenerette were caught up in the accident. … Among other cautions appearing were for Bradsher (lap 1), Steve Banal’s retirement (lap 10), Casey Traxler’s spin (lap 13) and Jenerette’s flat tire (lap 15). … Chuck Smith was sent pitside on lap 28 after his third unassisted caution.
On the move: Bradsher came from his sixth starting spot to finish second to Hamm for the second straight night.
