Cory Hedgecock won at I-75 Raceway, staying unbeaten on the Topless Outlaws Series.
What won the race: Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., swept the night at I-75 Raceway on Saturday to capture his third Topless Outlaws Series victory of the season. He earned $4,000 for his triumph in the Tom Crass Memorial.
Key notes: After breaking the track record in time trials, Hedgecock followed up a Dash win with a flag-to-flag victory in a feature that was slowed by several early caution flags. … Second-starting John Ownbey was an early retiree on the fourth lap. … Only nine drivers completed all 40 circuits. … The fledgling Topless Outlaws Series visited I-75 Raceway for the first of two scheduled trips this season. ...
