He crossed the finish line ahead of Centerville, Pa.'s Max Blair to register his first win on the second-year tour.

In support action, Chub Frank, pulling double duty, scored his first-ever RUSH Crate Late Model feature win over Max Blair and Scott Gurdak.
On the move: Boom Briggs of Bear Lake, Pa., started 10th and finished fourth.
Winner's sponsors: Hess drives a Black Diamond Chassis powered by a Craiger Racing Engine and sponsored by Hess Garage & Salvage, Chew On This Jerky, Genesis Shocks, Amsoil Inc., Handy Stop Repair Shop, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Precise Racing Products Pittsburgh and Plyler Overhead Door Co.
