What won the race: Polesitter Carson Ferguson of Charlotte, N.C., outran Michael Brown to win the evening's second 25-lap Fastrak feature at Friendship Motor Speedway on Sunday, putting an end to Brown's weekend dominance. Ferguson earned $2,500 in finishing 1.349 seconds ahead of Brown.
Key notes: The 15th annual Fastrak Triple Crown wrapped up Sunday as Friendship Motor Speedway hosted the Crate Late Model tour for the second time three days. ... Eight of the 10 starters finished the race. … Sunday’s action was split into two separate 25-lap, point-paying features, paying $2,500 to win each. … With three wins and a runner-up finish, Brown won the Triple Crown title. … Brown of Pageland, S.C., swept Friday’s two features, winning $3,000 and won Sunday’s first featur. … Saturday’s twin features at Beckley (W.Va.) Motorsports Park were cancelled with no makeup date. … Promoters on Monday announced they were stepping away from promotions at Friendship, saying the track hasn't had the cars and fans to break even financially.
