What won the race: Sprint car superstar Donny Schatz of Fargo, N.D., picked up a $1,200 victory in the Northern LateModel Racing Association race at River Cities Speedway. The event was run in conjunction with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event.
Key notes: Schatz finished fourth in the headlining WoO sprint feature. ... NLRA made the first of five trips to River Cities, the tour's de facto home track. ... The victory was the eighth career series victory for the perennial WoO sprint champ.
On the move: Hometown driver Dustin Strand started 22nd and finished ninth.
