What won the race: Remaining unbeaten at Greenville Speedway this season, front-row starter Mike Palasini Jr. of Leland, Miss., led all 40 lap Saturday to capture his first Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series victory, earning a career-high $3,000.
Key notes: Palasini entered the event with three straight weekly Super Late Model victories at Greenville. ... Chad Thrash was up to third when a flat tire forced him to pit for a spare; he rallied late to return to third. ... Polesitter Hunter Lewis finished fourth. ... Neil Baggett of Columbus, Miss., dropped from contention with a broken driveshaft. ... The Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series made its first stop at Greenville on the 2019 season after the tour's May 4 event was rained out. ... Robbie Stuart, Chad Thrash, Brian Rickman, Tyler Erb and Kyle Strickler scored series victories at Greenville last year. ... The tour returns to Greenville on Sept. 7.
