What won the race: Winning on the Ultimate Southeast Series for the first time in nearly five years, polesitter Dennis Franklin of Gaffney, S.C., topped fellow front-row starter Trent Ivey to win Saturday’s main event at Lake View Motor Speedway. Franklin finished 0.727 seconds ahead of Ivey in winning $4,000. Third-starting John Henderson finished where he started.
