What won the race: Sweeping Southern Outlaws Late Model Series action at Chatham Speedway, Rick Hearnsberger of Arkadelphia, Ark., topped Wayne Patton for a $1,000 victory Saturday his third straight tour win.
Key notes: Hearnsberger picked up his fifth Southern Outlaws win of the season and seventh of his career, tying him with Kanyan Methvin of Yellville, Ark., for second on the sixth-year tour’s all-time win list. … Four of his seven victories have come at Chatham, including his June 22 win. … Runner-up Wayne Patton of Simsboro, La., has two series wins this season. … Daniel Hughes and Jerry Jones did not start the feature. … The tour’s July 13 race as Batesville Motor Speedway has been cancelled. … Chatham hosts the series again Sept. 14.
