Jesse Lowe picked up a hometown win on the American Crate All Stars tour.
What won the race: Polesitter Jesse Lowe of Crossville, Tenn., cruised to his third American Crate All-Star Series victory of the season on Friday night in the Thunder in the Mountains at Crossville Speedway. Taking the checkers ahead of Jake Teague and Michael Courtney, Lowe earned $2,000.
Key notes: Lowe has now won three straight series races. ... Second-starting Anthony White was an early retiree on lap 14. … Fifteen drivers finished the race, with 12 completing all 40 laps. … The American Crate All-Star Series visited Crossville Speedway for the first of two stops this season. The race was originally set for June 7 but rained out.
