Timothy Culp emerges victorious at Boothill Speedway.
What won the race: Sixth-starting Timothy Culp of Prattsville, Ark., blasted past Brett Frazier on an early restart Saturday and went on to capture his sixth Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory of his career at Boothill Speedway. He earned $3,000.
Quotable: "These little bullrings, the stop-and-go slick stuff has never been my deal," Culp said. "But we get where we can carry a little speed around (the track) and mash on the motor a little bit, I usually do pretty good. So hopefully they keep watering these tracks a little bit."
Key notes: Culp won his first series race since the 2017 series finale at Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas. ... Boothill runner-up Tony Jackson Jr. won Friday's weekend opener at Texarkana (Ark.) 67 Speedway. ... The series made the second of two stops at Boothill on the 2019 season.
On the move: B.J. Robinson of Bossier City, La., started 13th and finished sixth.
Winner's sponsors: Culp’s Rocket Chassis is powered by Clements Racing Engines and carries sponsorship from Bennings Heat & Air, Carrier, Culp's Automotive, Loftis Farms and Henry’s Auto Salvage.
Points chase: Entering the weekend, Jackson (1,184 points) leads B.J. Robinson (1,040) and Hunter Rasdon (1,029).
