What won the race: Polesitter Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., dominated Friday’s Topless Outlaw Series event at Crossville Speedway en route to his fifth series win. The overall fast qualifier won the dash and led every lap of the feature in topping second-starting Matt Henderson. He earned $2,500.
Key notes: Hedgecock, the only Topless Outlaws Series repeat winner, has won five of eight events on the first-year series for Limited Late Models, including a May 3 stop at Crossville. … Jordan Judge of Winchester, Tenn., and Jordan Rodabaugh of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., failed to start the feature. Judge broke during hot laps and Rodabaugh broke after time trials. … The tour’s Aug. 3 race at Duck River Raceway Park has been dropped from the schedule.
On the move: Jesse Lowe of Crossville, Tenn., started 12th and finished fifth.
