What won the race: Inheriting the lead when Terry Henson and Ryan Colby tangled up front on the 16th lap, hometown driver Cole Burns led the rest of the way for his first Southern Outlaw Late Model Series victory. Burns took the checkers ahead of Rick Hearnsberger in the makeup of a May 18 rainout.
Key notes: Polesitter Terry Henson led the first 16 laps. ... Ryan Colby and Henson made contact, bringing out a caution. Henson was sent to the reear and Colby retired with damage. ... Burns went on to capture the night's other Southern Outlaws feature event, giving him two career SOLMS victories. ... Mike Myers and Wayne Patton didn't return for the makeup event.
