Colton Horner captured his third straight Southern Texas feature.
What won the race: Winning his third in a row on the Southern Texas tour, third-starting Colton Horner of Katy, Texas, overtook outside front-row starter Patrik Daniel on the 17th lap Saturday and raced to a $2,000 victory at Route 66 Motor Speedway.
Key notes: Horner won the previous night at Lubbock's West Texas Raceway and last month at Mesquite's Devil's Bowl Speedway. ... Series points leader Cody Leonard broke a rocker arm in his car’s engine and drove Eddy Hardage’s car to a third-place finish. … Polesitter Robbie Starnes finished third.
