What won the race: Taking the lead from polesitter John Lobb shortly after lap-10 restart, outside front-row starter Jared Miley of South Park, Pa., cruised the rest of the way for a $5,000 victory at Eriez Speedway. Miley took the checkers a quarter-lap ahead of Andy Boozel, Max Blair, Mike Knight and Rob Blair in the 50-lapper for his first victory at the track.
Key notes: Miley notched his sixth Super Late Model victory of 2014. ... A lap-10 yellow flew for Dave Hess Jr. and Ross Robinson; second-running Darrell Bossard headed to the pits with a flat right-rear tire during the caution, moving Miley up to the runner-up spot for the restart. ... Wally Fox drew a lap-27 yellow. ... Seventh-finishing Boom Briggs of Bear Lake, Pa., made the 850-mile overnight trip from Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., to pilot Mike Knight's backup car. ... All the heat races were won from the pole. ... Eriez also hosts $3,000- and $5,000-to-win Super Late Model events on Sept. 6-7.
