What won the race: Chad Olsen of Hendricks, Minn., won his second straight home-state event on the Tri-State Late Model Series, earning $1,000 at Fairmont Raceway. Olsen took the checkers 0.960 seconds ahead of Luke Sathoff, who also competed in the night's modified feature.
Key notes: Olsen won his first on the Tri-State tour Aug. 10 at Fiesta City Speedway in Montevideo, Minn. ... Series points leader Nate Beyenhof was third. ...
