What won the race: Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., cruised to victory in the Midwest Big 10 finale at Spoon River Speedway for the second straight season, earning $2,000 in Monday's main event. Winning his first race of the season, Feger finished comfortably ahead of rookie Mike Chasteen Jr.
Key notes: Polesitter Jason Wagner was the first retiree. ... Sunday rain postponed the event to Monday. ... The Midwest Big 10 Series visited Spoon River for the third time ever for the 2019 finale. ... The Late Models were on the undercard of the 29th annual Modified Plowboy Nationals, which paid $5,000-to-win to Illinois native Nick Hoffman.
