Willie Milliken heads to victory at Fayetteville Motor Speedway.
What won the race: Willie Milliken of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., pulled away to win $2,500 with a victory in Saturday night's 30-lap I-95 Late Model Challenge Series feature at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. He crossed the finish line 1.687 seconds ahead of Ben Watkins.
Key notes: Milliken continued to flex his muscle at Fayetteville, claiming his fourth feature win of 2019 at the half-mile oval. ... It was Milliken's second I-95 tour triumph of the season and the fifth of his career. ... After earning quick time earlier in the night, Matthew Bissette of Middlesex, N.C., crossed the finish line third but was later disqualified for using domed pistons, according to Fayetteville track officials. ... Shaun Harrell experienced engine problems in hot laps, but, after making a motor swap, he started at the rear of the feature field and recovered from involvement in a multi-car crash to finish sixth.
