What won the race: Taking advantage of his pole starting position, Dennis Erb Jr. of Carpentersville, Ill., led the distance for a $2,000 victory Friday at Quincy Raceway. Erb outran Rich Bell and Rusty Griffaw on the opening night of Quincy’s Kenny Pratt Memorial weekend doubleheader.
Key notes: The victory was Erb’s fourth overall of 2019 and first since a $10,000 World 100 prelim win at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway on Sept. 6. … It was a complete sweep as he was the overall fast qualifier, won his heat and dominated the 34-lap feature. ... The Kenny Pratt Memorial concludes Saturday with a $5,000-to-win feature and represents the 2019 season finale for Quincy Raceway.
