What won the race: Hometown driver Blake Craft inherited a City Chevrolet 602 Thunder Series victory Sunday at Lavonia Speedway’s Georgia Spring Nationals. Craft picked up $1,500 after apparent flag-to-flag winner Brandon Stroud was disqualified in postrace technical inspection.
Key notes: Flagged winner Brandon Stroud of Toccoa, Ga., was disqualified because of his car's rear-end deck height according to postrace "droop" rule checks. ... Apparent third-place finisher David Smith was also disqualified for failing to meet droop rule standards. ... Kenny Collins of Colbert, Ga., won the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series event on the same card.
Winner's sponsors: Craft’s No. 121 is sponsored by Keener Construction, Lewis Auto Sales and Grateful Moments.
Car count: 21
