What won the race: Billy Holbert of Fairmont, W.Va., captured $3,000 in Saturday night’s rescheduled Red Frederick Memorial at Elkins Raceway over Shane Hitt and Tim Scenic. He finished 2.808 seconds ahead of Hitt to extend his points lead at the track in the second round of the twin features.
Key notes: The Red Frederick Memorial was rescheduled for Sept. 19 because of foggy conditions after a mid-event fireworks show. ... Tyler Carpenter won the first half of scheduled twin 40-lap features in the Richard Skidmore Memorial. ... Both races were twice postponed previously.
