What won the race: Racing to his third Florida Late Model Challenge Series win of 2020, Nevin Gainey of Fort White, Fla., outran Thomas Fiebelkorn Jr., by a half second Saturday at Hendry County Motorsports Park. He earned $3,000, for winning the series’ richest race of the season.
Key notes: Gainey has now won three straight series races as the Florida tour stopped at Hendry County Motorsports Park for its fourth race of the season. … Adam Bedenbaugh of Lake City, Fla., who won the tour’s season-opener at All-Tech Raceway in May, finished fourth. … It’s the second time the fourth-year series has visited Henry County. … Shan Smith of Dade City, Fla., who won there in 2019, finished fifth.
