The Comp Cams-backed series made its first-ever appearance in Paragould. ... The tour's Labor Day weekend doubleheader at Crowley's Ridge and Poplar Bluff (Mo.) Speedway was washed out, pushing Friday's event back one week. ... Only one series race remains.
On the move: The winning Beard started 14th; Clay Fisher improved six spots after starting 12th.
Winner's sponsors: Beard drives an Upton Motorsports-owned Bob Pierce Race Car powered by a Jay Dickens Racing Engine with sponsorship from Gary Beard Trucking, Greg's Sawmill, Rockhard Powder Coating, Team 5 Enterprises, Xtreme Race Graphics and 45 Race Shop.
Points chase: Beard extended his points lead with the victory and should carry a comfortable margin into the tour's season finale at I-30 Speedway near Little Rock, Ark.
