Key notes: Winner Rodney Sanders got engaged to girlfriend Morgan McMann earlier in the week. ... Jake Timm chased winner Sanders in second most of the way and briefly took the lead on lap 25, but a flipping frontstretch accident amid traffic ended his run; he walked away apparently uninjured and competed later in the modified division. .... Timm entered turn four on the inside of a four-wide battle with Sanders and two lapped cars. He took the lead at the flagstand just before going upside down after a lapped car nosed under the left side of Timm's machine. ... Sanders led the rest of the way. ... With three laps remaining, runner-up Jesse Glenz cut the Sanders lead down to 0.518 seconds but was unable to get closer. ... John Kaanta, Jayme Zidar and Jared Siefert didn't start the feature.
