What won the race: Polesitter Dane Dacus of Lakeland, Tenn., led all 40 laps Saturday at Thunderhill Raceway Park for a $4,000 Southern All Star Series victory. Dacus took the checkers 4.423 seconds ahead of runner-up Jamie Elam for his fourth career tour victory, three of them at Thunderhill.
Key notes: Dacus last won with the Southern All Stars on July 6, 2019, at Thunderhill; he also won the tour's 2017 visit. ... His only non-Thunderhill SAS victory came in 2010 at Clayhill Motorsports Park in Atwood, Tenn. ...
