What won the race: C.S. Fitzgerald of Lexington, Va., came from his 11th starting spot Sunday at Princeton Speedway to outrun polesitter Chris Meadows of Crab Orchard, W.Va., in the inaugural West Virginia Dirt Cup. Fitzgerald earned $4,000 for the victory.
Key notes: The racing program began Saturday evening, but fog forced the postponement of the event until 3 p.m. Sunday; racing was halted eight laps into the Crate Late Model feature.. ... Chris Meadows won the Super Late Model dash over Travis Brookover and Rick Williams. ... The race is the track's biggest event of the 2014 season and boasts the biggest purse in Princeton Speedway history. ...
