What won the race: Charlie Sandercock of Belleville, Ontario, took advantage of a slipup by Phil Potts in turn two on the 23rd lap and led the rest of the 30-lap feature for his series-leading third victory of the season. Potts settled for second with Tim Sears Jr. in third.
Key notes: Polesitter Billy Eisele finished 14th in the opener of a two-race series weekend at Mohawk. ... Jason Knowles led early, but Sean Beardsley took the lead on the 13th lap. ... Potts moved by Beardsley a lap later to take command while Sandercock was charging toward the front. ... Kyle Sopaz slowed early to draw a yellow. ... Mike Trapp, Brian Knowles and Brian McDonald tangled in turn four on the first lap.
