What won the race: Polesitter Randy Weaver of Crossville, Tenn., led all the way in Dixie Speedway's Fall Championships for a $3,000 payday in the Super Late Model division. Weaver's victory left Ray Cook with his third straight runner-up finish at Dixie since climbing into a new Capital Race Car.
Key notes: Jason Croft and Brian Smith scratched from the feature lineup. ... The event, which wrapped up Dixie's weekly racing, drew 107 race cars over and 26 Super Late Models. ... Don Jenkins won the Limited Late Model feature and Craig Reece won the Crates. ... Day's Chevrolet Fall Monster Truck Nationals are scheduled for Sept. 19-20 while Dixie's season wraps up Oct. 4 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
