What won the race: Polesitter Rusty Schlenk of McClure, Ohio, cruised to a $2,000 Sunoco American Late Model Series victory on Saturday night at Oakshade Raceway. He finished ahead of Devin Shiels and 12th-starting Cody Bauer.
Key notes: Schlenk's 33rd career ALMS victory was his seventh triumph at Oakshade in 2021. … Points leader Rich Bell of Sheffield, Ill., finished fifth. … The ALMS tour concluded its weekend doubleheader with its third and final scheduled trip of the season to Oakshade. … Just two events remain on the ALMS schedule after ALMS: a Sept. 5 visit to Eldora Speedway and the Sept. 17-18 season finale at Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Mich.
