What won the race: Greg Roberson of Waynesboro, Va., led all the away from outside the front row Sunday for his third Steel Block Bandits victory of the season. Local rival Joey Leavell was 3.327 seconds behind at the checkers with two-time and reigning series champ Andy Fries of Mercersburg, Pa., in third.
Key notes: Justin Williams of Shipman, Va., who earned his first career series victory Saturday at Eastside Speedway in Waynesboro, Va., spun on the eighth lap to draw a catuion. ... Joey Leavell took the second spot from the polesitter Andy Fries with eight laps remaining. ... Nine drivers finished on the lead lap. ... Natural Bridge's program was originally set for Friday but got pushed to Sunday afternoon. ... Steel Block Bandits competitors will return to the track a final time to conclude their season on Oct. 3-4, with a $2,000-to-win event apart of the track's Fall Classic weekend.
