What won the race: Polesitter Brandon Sheppard of New Berlin, Ill., capped off a successful three-day stay at Tri-City Speedway with a victory in Saturday night's 30-lap UMP DIRTcar Late Model feature. UMP Super Late Models served as the support division this weekend for Tri-City's Modified Mania. ... Saturday's UMP modified feature paid $5,000 to the winner.
On the move: Pierce started eighth and finished second.
Winner's sponsors: Sheppard's Rocket Chassis has a Pro Power engine and is sponsored by Valvoline, Kid's Castle Learning Center, Petroff Towing and Keyser Mfg.
