What won the race: Second-starting Jason Welshan of Maryville, Tenn., survived several restarts and led all 71 laps to top Saturday night's Crate Racin' USA field in the 11th annual J.T. Kerr Memorial at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday. He beat Cameron Weaver of Crossville, Tenn., to the finish line by 0.890 of a second for the $10,040 winner's check.
Key notes: Weaver regained second on lap 67 and chased Welshan to the checkered flag. ... Ricky Weiss of Headingley, Manitoba, executed a last-lap pass to finish third. ...
