What won the race: Shane Edginton of Winnipeg, Manitoba, raced by polesitter Ryan Mikkelson on lap seven and led the final 34 circuits to win Friday's Dacotah Rumble preliminary feature sanctioned by the Structural Buildings WISSOTA Challenge Series at South Dakota's Brown County Speedway. Edington, who earned $3,000, beat Scott Ward of Watertown, S.D., by 1.684 seconds for his first series victory.
Key notes: Polesitter Ryan Mikkelson of Jamestown, N.D., led the opening six laps before fading to finish fourth. ... Points leader Cole Searing of Huron, S.D., started 23rd and finished third. ...
