Travis Carter picked up a career-high $10,000 at Needmore Speedway.
What won the race: Ninth-starting Hunter Carter of Valdosta, Ga., rebounded from a first-lap spin, racing back to the front and running out of gas as he took the checkered flag in Needmore Speedway's Early Bird 75. He took the checkers ahead of Evan Becton of Valdosta, Ga., and Ivedent Lloyd Jr. of Ocala, Fla.
Key notes: Carter's out-of-gas car couldn't take a cool-down lap and a push truck had to help him back to the pits. ... Third-starting Shane Clanton suffered front-end damage in an incident. ... Fast qualifier Russell Brown Jr. led the first 20 laps before fuel pump problems forced him out; he won the Limited Late Model feature ... Lavon Sloan of Moultrie, Ga., earned $5,000 for his victory in Saturday's invitation-only Top Gun Shootout. ... Hunter Peacock's weekend ended early when he blew an engine in time trials.
On the move: Consolation race winner Ivedent Lloyd Jr., who piloted David Clegg's No. 7, started 21st and finished third.
Winner's sponsors: Carter's Russell Brown Race Car is sponsored by S&W Chemical, Smith Tire Company, Blackwater Cattle Co., SWAT Graphics, Catko Distributors and Ga.-Fla. Power Sweeping.
