Race-long leader Jake Timm briefly regained the lead before tangling with a lapped car and spinning, drawing the race's final caution on lap 25 after nosing into the turn-three wall. Sheppard secured his second victory in a row in his Longhorn Chassis after winning Sunday's MARS feature at Red Hill Raceway.

Quotable: “I was trying to avoid it (Jake Timm’s spin) at that point, that (right rear damage) was from Jake there, I got into him a little bit when he was spinning across there,” Sheppard said. “I hate to see that for him, he was doing a heck of a job, you know I was definitely putting the pressure on him, so he knew he had to get through them lapped cars and that one lapped car didn’t give him no room there and that’s unfortunate for him.”
