What won the race: Second-starting Christian Thomas of Wake Forest, N.C., led all 40 laps Saturday at Lake View Motor Speedway for his first career Ultimate Southeast Series feature victory. The late entrant collected $5,000.

Quotable: “We were getting ready to load the car and going to run the Limited race up the road; at 1:30 this afternoon we changed our mind, pulled the car out of the hauler, pulled the Limited engine and dropped in the Super engine," Thomas said. "That’s why we rolled in here late, but I guess it worked out. My car would take off really good on restarts, I could build a good lead. Thanks to Dustin (Mitchell) and Ben (Watkins) for running us clean when they would get back to us.”
