There's no doubt where Tyler Peterson finished at River Cities.
What won the race: Tyler Peterson of Hickson, N.D., took the lead from polesitter Ryan Corbett on lap two and never looked back, pacing the remaining 24 circuits to score his second career Northern LateModel Racing Association victory in Sunday's $1,250 annual Greater Grand Forks Fair Race at River Cities Speedway. Peterson secured his fourth Late Model victory of the month and the seventh of his career, including topping two of the last three NLRA events.
Quotable: “It was pretty good, they had a lot of rain, so the track held up pretty well for what they had,” Peterson said. “The fair races are awesome, we get a bunch of new fans and new faces coming out to the races, so I hope to see you guys back here. Awesome (fan) turnout, I love River Cities Speedway. I don’t know about (being a feared presence in the pits), I just go out there and try to do the best I can. Looking forward to the rest of the year here, coming with the modified and everything.”
Key notes: Peterson took the checkered flag 1.638 seconds ahead of hometown driver Brad Seng. ...
