What won the race: Josh Peacock of Dover, Fla., took advantage of a slipup by Travis Varnadore to grab the lead on the 14th lap and went on to his first Crate Late Model Winternationals victory at his home track.
Quotable: “I’ve won some pretty big races and this is another one to check off my list. Next for me is the local Scott Thompson Memorial and then I’ll retire.”
