What won the race: Using an inside move to take the point from race-long leader Pat Doar on lap nine, seventh-starting Kyle Peterlin of Hibbing, Minn., paced the final 22 circuits Friday at Gondik Law Speedway for a $5,000 victory. Earning the richest payday of his career, Peterlin secured his fifth victory of the year and his first at the Superior, Wis., oval since July 12, 2019.
Quotable: “Especially (takes patience to run the bottom) here, I haven’t run good here in a few years. I think the last time I won here was 2019,” Peterlin said. “This is literally the best I’ve ever felt here in 20-something years of racing. Sometimes you hit the setup and tonight I hit it.”

Jeff Massingill moved into third on lap 24 and rounded out the podium in the WISSOTA event. ...
