What won the race: Taking the point from pacesetter Jadon Frame with an outside move on lap 33, fourth-starting Josh Henry of Newport, Tenn., led the final 18 laps to win Friday's $5,000 Never Forget 50 at Mountain View Raceway. Henry captured his first career XR Workin' Man Series triumph and his first Super Late Model victory.

Quotable: “It’s my very first Super (Late Model) win, I mean, it’s pretty emotional,” Henry said. “I appreciate everyone who has ever helped me. I rolled the bottom (of the track) forever there, I mean I thought I was gonna be really good on the top, but I didn’t want to show it too early. I was afraid I was gonna cut my tire down (running the high line), but everything worked out.”

Key notes: Third-starting Frame, of Winchester, Tenn., led laps 2-32 before giving way to Henry and finishing 0.966 of a second back; Frame was awarded a $500 bonus for using an open trailer. ...
