Trever Feathers shows off his paycheck at Lincoln Speedway.
What won the race: Regaining the point from mid-race pacesetter Ross Robinson on lap 27, pole-starting Trever Feathers of Winchester, Va., led the final four laps to win Saturday's $3,500 Lazer Clash at Lincoln Speedway. Feathers led twice for seven circuits (1-3, 27-30) and beat Robinson to the line by 1.134 seconds to top the unsanctioned Super Late Model field.
Key notes: Lucas Oil Series regular, Robinson of Georgetown, Del., led laps 4-26 before being overtaken by Feathers and settling for second; it's Robinson's second runner-up finish of the week after trailing Kyle Hardy on Sunday at his home track. ... Andrew Yoder took third on lap seven and rounded-out the podium. ... Gary Stuhler regained fourth place on lap 17. ... Ninth-starting Gene Knaub moved into fifth on lap 21 and completed the top-five finishers. ... Coleby Frye improved four positions and finished seventh. ... Rick Eckert ran as high as third in the early laps before fading to finish eighth. ... 2023 Appalachian Mountain Speedweek champion Tyler Emory started 10th and finished 11th. ... Saturday's feature was slowed by a 10-minute red flag on the opening lap when Brandon Little and Randy Christine Jr. tangled, ending their nights. The remaining 29 laps were completed without incident and lasted 14 minutes, with 14 drivers completing the distance and 21 running at the finish.
On the move: Andrew Yoder of Middleburg, Pa., started eighth and finished third.
